Ordinance #2005-22: Genoa Township Cemeteries Special Use Permit. To
allow a cemetery on 12.84-acre property located at the northwest corner of North
State and Jefferson Roads in Genoa Township.

Action: Moved by Ms. Vary, seconded by Mr. Lyle, and it was carried unanimously
to forward the recommendation to the full board for approval.
b.)
Ordinance
#2005-23: Baker Special Use Permit. To allow the operation of a home-based
business on property located at 10044 Perry Road in Afton Township.

Resolution #R2005-64: FY2006 Budget To Be Placed On File For Public
View. To place the FY2006 budget in the County Clerk’s Office, the County’s
Internet site and at two other geographically diverse public offices (The
Sandwich City Hall and the office of the Genoa City Clerk), for public
inspection.

unanimously to forward this recommendation to the full board for approval.

Resolution #R2005-65: Request For the Extension of the Board of Review.
Because the DeKalb County board of review’s work can rarely if ever be
completed by the statutory date of November 7th deadline, the DeKalb
County Board does give permission for the DeKalb County board of review to
recess on or before November 7, 2005, and all subsequent
assessment years in which their work is not completed.

unanimously to forward the resolution to the full board for approval.
b.)
Resolution #R2005-66: Declaration of a Vacancy on the DeKalb County
Board. With the resignation of County Board Member Steve Faivre, County Board
District #2, the DeKalb County Board does officially declare his office vacant.

unanimously to forward the resolution to the full board for approval.

Ordinance #2005-24: Proposed Amendment to Section
2-41(a)(2) of the DeKalb County Code. To make the Vice-Chairman of the
Standing Committees members of the Executive Committee with the absence of the
Chairman of those standing committees.

Resolution #R2005-59: To Place the FY2006 Budget On File for Public
View. To place the FY2006 budget in the County Clerk’s Office, the County’s
Internet site and at two other geographically diverse public offices (The
Sandwich City Hall and the office of the Genoa City Clerk), for public
inspection.
b.)
Resolution #R2005-60: Bid Award for Electrical Work to be performed at
Chief Shabbona Forest Preserve. OLT Grant monies to be used for the burial
of overhead electrical wires and other electrical improvements at Chief Shabbona
Forest Preserve. The bid is awarded to David Turner Electric of Shabbona,
Illinois, in the amount of $10,080.00. There were 8 bid requests and only one
bid was received by the Forest Preserve Committee.

unanimously by voice vote to forward the resolution to the full Forest Preserve
Commission for approval.

Resolution #R2005-61: Bid Award for the Construction of a Metal Barn at
Afton Forest Preserve. OLT Grant monies to be used for the construction of a
metal barn storage building at Afton Forest Preserve. The bids were reviewed by
the Forest Preserve Committee and it was awarded to Zenz Buildings in the amount
of $17,970.00. Committee
Action: Moved by Mr. Gudmunson, seconded by Ms. Turner, and it was carried
unanimously by voice vote to forward the resolution to the full Forest Preserve
Commission for approval.
