Crime Stoppers is seeking information regarding two motor vehicle thefts that took place in the 1500 block of S. Memory Lane, rural Sandwich. The car burglaries occurred on March 27th sometime after 10:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m. on March 28th. The suspects gained entry to a vehicle parked on the property and took a purse, hat, scarf, and gloves.

 

On March 27th at approximately 11:30 p.m. in the 3900 block of River Ridge Dr. Sandwich another vehicle was entered by possibly a white or lighter skinned male approximately 20-30 years of age wearing blue jeans, a hoodie, and glasses. Taken was a wallet and a distinctive black coat. There are two suspects. The vehicle used is possibly a white or lighter colored two or four door sedan. Video of one of the suspects is available at the DeKalb County Sheriff's Office Facebook page.

Crime Stoppers is seeking information in reference a burglary to outbuildings in the 13000 block of West County Line Road in rural Lee. The incident occurred between March 26, 2017 and April 1, 2017. Numerous garden tools, hoses, shop tools, scaffolding, ladders, a John Deere riding lawn mower, cement mixer, jack stands, pressure washer, stainless steel grill, bicycles, and numerous other items were taken.

Crime Stoppers is seeking information regarding a series of catalytic converter thefts that occurred this past weekend of March 18th, northwest DeKalb. In total, the DeKalb Police Department and DeKalb County Sheriff's Office took 20 reports of vehicles that had catalytic converters stolen from their respective vehicles. A possible suspect vehicle was seen in the area. The vehicle is described as a black Chevrolet Suburban with yellow Land of Lincoln license plates.
