CASE MANAGER

DeKalb County Community Services has a temporary full time position open for a case manager.

Pay rate is $13.50 per hour with benefits. 

The responsibilities of this position are to provide support, case management, and assistance in the prevention of homelessness and to aid in the rapid re-housing of families who experience homelessness.  A background in a social services field is required; fluency in English and Spanish and a bachelor’s degree in social services are preferred.  The ideal candidate must be able to make independent decisions, yet be a team player.

This position also requires mobile casework throughout DeKalb County and participation at occasional trainings outside of regular hours that require travel.  Strong interpersonal and computer skills are required. An understanding of the social services system in DeKalb County is extremely helpful.
