MILEAGE REIMBURSEMENT 

01/01/2017


Effective starting January 1, 2017, the business travel mileage reimbursement rate will decrease to
53.5 cents per mile
for 2017, (down .5 cent from 54 cents in 2016)

Also, the medical, and moving expense rates will decrease to 17 cents per mile driven for medical or moving purposes for 2017, (down from 19 cents in 2016).

01/01/2016

Effective starting January 1, 2016, the business travel mileage reimbursement rate will decrease to
54 cents per mile for 2016, (down 3.5 cents from 57.5 cents)

Also, the medical, and moving expense rates will decrease to 19 cents per mile driven for medical or moving purposes for 2016, (down from 23 cents).

01/01/2015

Effective starting January 1, 2015 the mileage reimbursement will increase 1 & 1/2 cent to 57.5 cents per mile.

Also, there will be an decrease of 1/2 cent for miles driven for medical purposes down from 23.5 cents per mile to 23 cents per mile.

01/01/2014

January 1, 2014 the mileage reimbursement decreased 1/2 cent to 56 cents per mile..  

Also, an increase of 1/2 cent for miles driven for medical purposes down from 24 cents per mile to 23.5 cents per mile.

01/01/2013

January 1, 2013 the mileage reimbursement increased 1 full cent to 56.5 cents per mile up from 55.5 during 2012.  

Also, an increase of 1 full cent for miles driven for medical purposes from 23 cents per mile to 24 cents per mile

January 1, 2012 through December 31, 2012, the mileage reimbursement remained at 55.5 cents per mile. 

Also, to remain the same is the 23 cents per mile driven for medical purposes.

6/23/2011

July 1, 2011 through December 31, 2011, the mileage reimbursement increased from 51 cents per mile to 55.5 cents per mile.

Also, effective starting January 1, 2011 the mileage reimbursement will be increased from 19 cents per mile to 23.5 cents per mile driven for medical purposes.

1/1/2011

January 1, 2011 through June 30, 2011 the mileage reimbursement increased from 50 cents per mile to 51 cents per mile.

Also, starting January 1, 2011 through June 30, 2011 the mileage reimbursement will be increased from 16.5 cents per mile to 19 cents per mile driven for medical purposes.

1/1/2010

January 1, 2010 the mileage reimbursement will be decreased from 55 cents per mile to 50 cents per mile.

Also, effective starting January 1, 2010 the mileage reimbursement will be decreased from 24 cents per mile to 16.5 cents per mile driven for medical purposes.

1/1/2009

January 1, 2009 the mileage reimbursement decreased from 58.5 cents per mile to 55 cents per mile.

Also, effective starting January 1, 2009 the mileage reimbursement will be decreased from 27 cents per mile to 24 cents per mile driven for medical purposes.

7/1/2008

July 1, 2008 the mileage reimbursement increased from 50.5 cents per mile to 58.5 cents per mile.

Also, effective starting January 1, 2009 the mileage reimbursement will be increased from 19 cents per mile to 27 cents per mile driven for medical purposes.

1/1/2008 January 1, 2008 the mileage reimbursement increased from  48.5 cents per mile to 50.5 cents per mile.
2007 January 1, 2007 the mileage reimbursement increased from  44.5 cents per mile to 48.5 cents per mile.
2006 January 1, 2006 the mileage reimbursement decreased from  48.5 cents per mile to 44.5 cents per mile.
2005 September 1, 2005 the mileage reimbursement increased from   40.5 cents per mile to 48.5 cents per mile through December 31, 2005.
2005 January 1, 2005 the mileage reimbursement increased from  37.5 cents per mile to 40.5 cents per mile.
2004 January 1, 2004 the mileage reimbursement increased from 36 cents per mile to 37.5 cents per mile.
2003 January 1, 2003 the mileage reimbursement decreased from 36.5 cents per mile to 36 cents per mile.
2002 January 1, 2002 the mileage reimbursement increased from 34.5 cents per mile to 36.5 cents per mile.
2001 January 1, 2001 the mileage reimbursement increased from 32.5 cents per mile to 34.5 cents per mile.
2000 January 1, 2000 the mileage reimbursement increased from 31.0 cents per mile to 32.5 cents per mile.
1999 April 1, 1999 the mileage reimbursement decreased from 32.5 cents per mile to 31.0 cents per mile.
1998 February 1, 1998 the mileage reimbursement increased from 31.5 cents per mile to 32.5 cents per mile.
