Christine J. Johnson, DeKalb County Treasurer, would like to remind all mobile homeowners to be sure that they have filed a Mobile Home Registration Form with the County Treasurer’s Office.  Illinois law requires that each mobile home located in the State file a Mobile Home Registration with the County Treasurer’s Office within 30 days of purchasing or inhabiting a mobile home.  If you are unsure whether you have filed a registration form, please call the County Treasurer’s Office, Monday through Friday, between 8:30 AM and 4:30 pm, at 815-895-7112.  When you call, please provide your name and address to assist the Treasurer’s Office staff in checking your registration information.   If it is determined that you have not registered with the County Treasurer’s Office, we can provide you with a Mobile Home Registration Form.  Forms are also available at most mobile home park offices.
