- Spring Postings Removed Of County Roads Announced
Nathan F. Schwartz, DeKalb County Engineer, has announced that due to the “spring freeze/thaw” cycle, County crews will remove signs by the end of the day on Wednesday, March 25, 2020. .
- The DeKalb County Engineer has announced the closing of Waterman Road from Duffy Road north to Perry Road to through traffic for shoulder widening and ditch grading. The road is scheduled to be closed beginning Monday, August 26th and will reopen upon completion-weather permitting in 2019, otherwise construction will resume until 2020. Martin and Company Excavating Inc. from Oregon, Illinois is the contractor for this $862,242.95 project. Local traffic will still have access to Honey Hill Orchard and the Waterman Winery during this project when those establishments are open for business.
