Human Resources
The Human Resources Department was established in 2024. The HR Department’s responsibilities include:
- Supporting County departments with recruiting, screening, hiring, onboarding, and employee relations
- Administration of employee benefits and leave of absence programs
- Ensuring compliance with federal and state employment laws, including ensuring annual training requirements and compensation reports, as well as the County’s six collective bargaining agreements
- Administration of risk management programs, including workers’ compensation and unemployment
