    • IMRF now requires that Voluntary Additional Contribution Enrollment forms include a barcode specific to the member. In order to generate such a form, you will need to log into your Member Access account on the IMRF website. Once you have generated and completed the form, please return it to Benefits@dekalbcounty.org for processing. If you need assistance, please contact Angie Arnold at 815-895-1635.

  • Q: When will I be vested in IMRF (Illinois Municipal Retirement Fund)?
    • A: If your first participation date in IMRF or any Illinois Reciprocal System is prior to January 1, 2011, you participate in the IMRF Regular Tier 1 Plan and you will be vested after eight years of service (which can include reciprocal service). If your first participation date in IMRF or any Illinois Reciprocal System is January 1, 2011 or later, you participate in the IMRF Regular Tier 2 Plan and you will be vested after ten years of service (which can include reciprocal service).
