Wedding / Civil Union Ceremonies

Wedding/ Civil Union ceremonies are performed every Monday through Thursday at 1 :00pm or 3:45pm at the DeKalb County Courthouse, 133 W. State Street, Sycamore, Illinois.

The cost of these ceremonies is $10.00 (cash) which can be paid in the 2nd Floor Circuit Clerk’s office in Room 203 prior to the ceremony.

Appointments are required. To schedule a wedding ceremony, please call the DeKalb County Court Administrator at 815-895-7160.

Marriage Licenses are required and can be obtained at the DeKalb County Clerk & Recorder’s Office located at 110 E. Sycamore Street, Sycamore, Illinois. Please call 815-895-7142. The Marriage Licenses must be obtained no later than 24 hours in advance.
