Inmate Visits

All Inmate Visits are Cancelled until Further Notice

Inmates are allowed one 30 minute visit twice a week. Visitors may include 2 adults or if children are visiting, any combination of no more than 3 people. Visitors must be 17 years of age or accompanied by their parent or legal guardian. All visits are on a first-come first-serve basis and are non-contact. Attorneys can visit outside normal visiting hours, preferably by appointment.

All adult visitors must have some form of valid identification which includes one of the following:

  • State issued drivers license
  • State issued ID card
  • Passport
  • 1-551 Resident alien, permanent resident card
  • A birth date is required on all Photo Id’s

None of the following items are allowed:

  • Items not allowed are food and/or beverages are not permitted.
  • No cameras or cell phones are allowed.

Please limit your personal property, as property is secured in lockers during your visit.

Any violation of visitation rules will suspend your visitation privileges.

DeKalb County Government is working to reduce the spread of COVID-19. In an effort to limit exposure to the public and employees, many offices have limited access. We encourage the public to contact individual departments by phone in order to schedule appointments and obtain information on building and office closures.
