Adult Probation Officer
DEPARTMENT: DeKalb County Probation and Court Services
TITLE: Adult Probation Officer
RESPONSIBLE TO: Supervisor
RESPONSIBLE FOR: Supervise and maintain a caseload of low, moderate, and high-risk clients. Complete needed risk assessments timely and accurately. Complete case plans with clients; targeting goals for clients to achieve over time. Document case notes timely and accurately. Prepare reports for court hearings. Develop positive rapport with stakeholders in the county.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor of Arts or Science Degree, preferably in Criminal Justice, Social Work, or Education. Prefer experience in substance abuse or mental health counseling/treatment and/or CADC. Prior grant experience a plus.

STARTING DATE: November 27, 2023
SALARY RANGE: $44,752.39 annually
