Winter Position

The DeKalb County Highway Department is taking applications for a part-time winter position for the upcoming snow removal season.  The period of employment is from November 13, 2023 through March 31, 2024.  Must possess a valid Illinois Class “A” Commercial Driver’s License.  Thirty-Two hours of work is guaranteed and occasional overtime will be required.  Hourly rate is $21.88 an hour with no benefits.  Interested persons should submit an application to 1826 Barber Greene Road, DeKalb, Illinois 60115 or highway@dekalbcounty.org.    Applications can be found at https://dekalbcounty.org/ under Job Opportunities.
